- 2 teaspoon lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons melted butter
FOR MASALA SAUCE
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 6 tablespoons fresh cream
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon fenugreek leaves roasted and crushed
- 3 tablespoon butter
- salt to taste
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
HOW TO MAKE CURRY STAND CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA
MARINATE THE CHICKEN
Wash and pat dry chicken with a paper towel and cut it into 2″ pieces
Mix the ingredients we took for marination and marinate chicken with it. set aside at room temp for one hour
COOK THE CHICKEN
Heat the butter in a pan and place the chicken pieces side by side. Don’t crowd the pan. You can do it in batches
Fry on medium heat for 2 minutes, and then turn on the side. Continue to fry it on medium heat on another side for 2 minutes. Now turn it again and continue to fry it on low heat for three minutes. Flip it and continue the same on the other side too.
Take out on a plate.
PREPARE THE MASALA SAUCE
Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and fry for 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry on low heat for 2 minutes
Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili coriander powder, cumin powder, and a pinch of salt to the pan and fry for 2 minutes on low heat.
COMBINE THE CHICKEN AND MASALA SAUCE
Add fried chicken pieces give a mix, and add 300 ml water. Add garam masala powder, give a mix, and cover. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Stir in the cream and cook for 2 minutes
Add roasted and crushed fenugreek leaves and cook for 2 minutes on low heat.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with fresh cilantro
Serve over rice or with flatbread.
